The bond between horses and owners is often very deep and visually evident. So capturing that special shared moment between you and your horse is what I strive for - with it usually unfolding when both of you are fully relaxed and quietly connecting with each other. Choice of a background with trees or paddocks, in golden afternoon lighting, helps create beautiful portraits, whether posed together, you riding, or lunging your horse. For safety your horse stays bridled or in a halter throughout the shoot, and I can edit the bridles out later for a natural, relaxed image. Having owned my own horses, I am fully relaxed around them, but equally respect their individual personality traits. I work with longer lenses, so I do not need to be that close to your horse or pony - helping keep them relaxed throughout.

I provide fully edited digital image packages of both print ready and social media sized files.
